    0 0

The Cameroonian Football Federation has officially announced its national team squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The list is headlined by forward Bryan Mbeumo, with Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba also included, but goalkeeper André Onana, currently on loan from Manchester United to Trabzonspor, was notably omitted.

Cameroon has been drawn into a competitive Group F, where they will face Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, and Mozambique.

Goalkeepers: Omosola (St. Eloi Lupopo), Epassy Mboka (Dinamo București), Ngapandouetnbu (Montpellier), Soumbou (Colombe FC)

Defenders: Samuel Kotto (Gent), Nyamtsi (Lokomotiv Moscow), Castelletto (Al-Duhail), Nouhou Tolo (Seattle Sounders), Boyomo (Osasuna), Naguida (Rennes), Tchamadeu (Stoke City), Christopher Wooh (Spartak Moscow), Yongwa Ngaméni (Lorient)

The omission of André Onana is the biggest talking point from the squad announcement, as the team prepares for a challenging group stage next year.
