According to Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale, Juventus have increased their offer for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The report states that Juventus are seeking to sign Mateta on loan with a mandatory purchase clause, raising the total package from the initial €30 million to around €32–33 million. However, this figure still falls short of Crystal Palace’s valuation.

Mateta has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, starting 31 of them, and has recorded 10 goals and 2 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €40 million, and his contract with Crystal Palace runs until 2027.

According to previous reports, Juventus could turn to Fenerbahçe’s Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri on loan as an alternative if a deal for Mateta cannot be completed.
